As
a self-taught man, Charles Van der Vloedt makes some
studies on the technical aspects of water colors, oil-paint
and pastel. He is very active in these disciplines of
arts. Later on, Charles works in team spirit with the '
Art-Society 't Blad ', who is settled in the Old
Atelier Hendrik Luyten in Brasschaat.
Van der Vloedt prefers
the pastels, but he also paint flowers, moor
plains,
landscapes and
seasights in water colors and in oil paint.
In the meantime, he is well known for his extremely
sensible and fine reproduction of the untouched landscape
in Brasschaat and surrounding areas.
Charles Van der Vloedt is,
because of his profession, also a member of the
' Art-Society Tol en Accijnzen ' from Antwerp.
Expositions, individual and in
group, take place in- and outside Belgium. A lot of his
works are purchased by private collectors in Belgium,
California - USA, Congo - Zaïre, The Netherlands, Spain
and South-Africa.
